Welshpool is one of the churches within the Upper Severn group of parishes. The others are God the Holy Spirit in Newtown (www.catholicchurchnewtown.co.uk) and Our Lady and St Richard Gwyn in Llanidloes. The only other Catholic church in Montgomeryshire is St Mair in Machynlleth which is in the parish of St David, Tywyn. (www.stdavidandstmair.co.uk)
